Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time position. This opportunity offers stability and the chance to make a lasting impact on the lives of students. As an OT in this school-based setting, you will work with a supportive team to enhance students' ability to participate in daily activities and achieve educational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services and interventions in accordance with students' IEPs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to ensure coordinated and effective delivery of services.
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve educational objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and student progress.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
  • New York state OT license or eligibility.
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
