Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty Member to join our School of Nursing at Stratford University. As a key member of our academic team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, curriculum development, and student support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Curriculum Development: Provide engaging and motivating instruction through face-to-face, online, and hybrid modes of delivery. Develop, evaluate, and revise curriculum in collaboration with program directors.
  • Student Support: Promote student success by engaging students in the learning process, utilizing appropriate library resources and educational technology, and maintaining class schedules and instructional integrity.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct ongoing assessment of student progress, ensure positive student outcomes, and accommodate students' special needs.
  • Professional Development: Maintain professional competence through continuing education programs, conferences, workshops, and research projects.
Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Earned master's degree in nursing.
  • Teaching Experience: Teaching experience in the content area assigned.
  • Licensure: Hold an unencumbered RN license in Virginia or equivalent compact state licensure.
  • Professional Competence: Maintain professional competence through continuing education programs, conferences, workshops, and research projects.
