Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician to become an integral part of our Surgery and Anesthesia Department at Ethos Veterinary Health. This role is essential for managing all facets of anesthetic and sedated procedures, requiring a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Work Schedule:
  • Four 10-hour shifts
  • Rotating on-call duties
Compensation:
  • $21 - $38 based on skills and experience
Training Requirements: Completion of anesthesia training through our organization, with successful passing of both written and practical examinations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily procedure intake and client interactions
  • Develop customized anesthetic and sedative protocols for patients
  • Calculate and prepare medications for procedures
  • Perform venipuncture and conduct laboratory tests
  • Induce and maintain anesthesia while managing any complications
  • Supervise anesthetic recovery and assist in intensive care
  • Ensure smooth workflow of cases throughout the day
  • Provide support in surgical tasks and collaborate with colleagues
  • Participate in anesthesia rotation and on-call responsibilities
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for individuals who demonstrate commitment and excellence. Ideal candidates will possess:
  • A valid Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) certification
  • Proficiency in anesthetic monitoring, with a strong understanding of drug dosages and calculations
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, leading by example
  • Flexibility, reliability, and strong attention to detail

Qualifications:
  • LVMT, CVT, LVT, or RVT licensure

  • Broad technical skills including phlebotomy, catheterization, patient restraint, and pharmacology
