Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnosis and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose mental health and emotional disorders, and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Therapy and Counseling: Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients, addressing their unique needs and concerns.
  • Medication Management: Prescribe and monitor medications as necessary, ensuring safe and effective treatment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient visits and progress, facilitating informed care decisions.
  • Treatment Planning: Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans, aligning with patient goals and needs.
  • Care Coordination: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care, promoting optimal patient outcomes.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and families about mental health and emotional disorders, empowering them to make informed decisions.
  • Community Outreach: Participate in community outreach and education initiatives, promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Nursing, with a specialty in Psychiatric Nursing.
  • Certification: Board Certification via ANCC or AANP.
  • Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (based on clinic location).
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a clinical setting, preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work as part of a team.
