Bilingual Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Clinician to join our team at Mental Health Systems, Inc. As a key member of our clinical services team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to individuals struggling with substance use disorders and mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual and group counseling services to clients with substance use disorders and mental health issues.
- Collaborate with program managers to develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
- Conduct psychosocial and risk assessments to identify areas of concern and develop strategies for support.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in need, including on-call services during nighttime and weekend hours.
- Develop and lead psychoeducational groups to promote healthy coping mechanisms and support recovery.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions and progress, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, program managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Master's degree in a behavioral science, such as counseling or psychology.
- CA BBS registration or licensure (MFT, LCSW, LPCC) required.
- Valid CA driver's license and current auto insurance.
- Experience providing mental health and substance use disorder services preferred.
- Cultural competency and bilingual skills (English/Spanish) highly valued.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and crisis intervention skills.
This position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands:
- Seeing, hearing, and speaking.
- Stooping, bending, and working in cramped spaces.
- Moving around the facility and between offices.
- Driving and lifting/carrying heavy items.
- Standing for long periods and using hands/fingers.
