Special Education Interventionist - Cleveland, OH
Position Overview:
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Contract Length: Full Academic Year
  • Location: Cleveland, OH
  • Compensation: $37-39 per hour (Dependent on Experience)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and executing tailored educational plans for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Fostering an inclusive and nurturing educational atmosphere that encourages student participation and development.
  • Delivering customized instruction and modifying teaching methods to cater to the individual requirements of each learner.
  • Evaluating and tracking student performance, recording successes, and pinpointing areas needing enhancement.
  • Working collaboratively with fellow educators, specialists, and families to ensure effective communication and service coordination.
  • Employing a range of teaching strategies, materials, and resources to enrich student learning experiences.
  • Integrating assistive technologies and adaptive tools as necessary to support student engagement and autonomy.
  • Observing and addressing students' emotional and social growth, behavior management, and self-regulation abilities.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in special education is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid teaching certification or credential in Special Education.
  • Understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and the capability to develop and implement them effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate efficiently with colleagues, families, and support personnel.
