Job Title: IT Intern

Delta Star Inc is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Intern to join our team. As an IT Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in hardware, software, and end-user support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Assist with troubleshooting hardware and software issues, provide support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals, and respond to user inquiries in a timely manner.
  • PC System Maintenance: Help with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and applications, perform regular updates and patches to ensure systems are up-to-date.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Assist in documenting technical procedures and user guides, and maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory.
  • Project Assistance: Participate in IT projects and initiatives, collaborate with team members on various IT-related tasks.
  • Learning and Development: Stay updated on the latest technology trends and advancements, engage in continuous learning to enhance technical skills, and identify and apply relevant college coursework skills and knowledge where appropriate.
Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems and other Microsoft office productivity software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
