Responsibilities:

- Communicate Effectively: Clearly explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical individuals, including customers and colleagues.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with the latest technical services, dealership policies, and procedures.
- Maintain a Clean and Organized Work Environment: Ensure that your workspace is clean, well-organized, and free from hazards, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with the Service Manager and other team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Meet Quality and Productivity Standards: Complete service and repair assignments efficiently and effectively, meeting or exceeding quality and productivity standards.
Requirements:
- Experience: One year of experience in the automotive repair industry as a technician or mechanic is preferred.
- Certifications: ASE and brand certifications are a plus.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Tools and Equipment: Possess or be willing to purchase your own tools.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
What We Offer:
University Volkswagen / Audi Seattle offers a competitive benefits package, including company-subsidized health, dental, and vision insurance, fully subsidized EAP, LTD, Life, and AD&D insurance, 401k with company match, and paid company holidays. Automotive Technicians receive commission and bonus payments based on shop production, with average annual compensation ranging from $70,000 to $85,000.
