Pioneer Ridge Health & Rehab Dietary Aide Job Summary

The Dietary Aide plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in food preparation, including food prep, serving plates and beverages, and bussing
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and food plates
  • Comply with facility policies and procedures, including safety and infection control protocols
  • Treat residents, family members, visitors, and team members with dignity and respect
  • Report witnessed or reported allegations of resident abuse/neglect immediately
  • Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors
  • Assist in serving meals and pouring beverages
  • Prepare and serve in between meal nourishment snacks
  • Carry out garbage and keep work areas clean, dry, and free of hazardous equipment and supplies
Requirements:
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Ability to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary
  • Ability to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations
