Pioneer Ridge Independent Living Operations, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietary Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring that meals are prepared according to menus and in accordance with Federal and State regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement menus in consultation with a dietician, taking advantage of seasonal and locally available foods.
- Supervise cooks and dietary aides to ensure that meals are prepared to the highest standards.
- Assure that all meals are served to residents according to physician's orders.
- Manage inventory and supplies to ensure that all necessary items are available to dietary staff.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and obtain approval from the Executive Director for any expenditures.
- Participate in care plan meetings and comply with goals and approaches set forth in residents' care plans.
- Monitor personal and staff compliance to residents' rights.
- Ensure compliance with all State and Federal regulations, including blood-borne pathogens, infection control, and fire safety.
- CDM certification required.
- At least three years of food industry experience, preferably in a hospitality environment.
- At least three years' experience supervising staff.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Ability to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.
- Ability to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
- Lift up to 10 lbs: constantly.
- Lift 11 to 25 lbs: frequently.
- Lift 26 to 50 lbs: occasionally.
- Carry up to 10 lbs: constantly.
- Carry 11 to 25 lbs: frequently.

- Twisting, bending, crawling, squatting, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and balancing are all required.
- Employees may be required to operate an automobile and various games.
- Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and, at times, hostile people within the Facility.
