Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop electrical systems for marine vessels, offshore platforms, and coastal infrastructure, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Conduct detailed electrical analyses and simulations to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Prepare and review electrical design documentation, including schematics, specifications, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems into larger projects.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues during design, installation, and operational phases.
- Ensure that all electrical designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, such as IEC, IEEE, and ABS.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- 5-10 years of experience in marine electrical engineering, with a strong portfolio of marine and offshore electrical projects.
- Proficiency in electrical design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, MATLAB).
