Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Automobile Sales Professional to join our team at Bertera Subaru of Hartford. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling automobiles by understanding and demonstrating excellent product knowledge, customer service, and presentation of safety features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand automobiles by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features; comparing and contrasting competitive models; inspecting automobiles.
  • Timely and appropriate follow-up with calls, text, emails to develop buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers; suggesting trade-ins; meeting prospects at community activities; greeting; responding to inquiries.
  • Qualify buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests; matching requirements and interests to various models; building rapport.
  • Demonstrate automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking test drives; explaining warranties, services, and Simoniz Glass Coat.
  • Closing sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating price; completing lease or purchase contracts; explaining provisions; services, and financing; collects payment; delivers automobile.
  • Provide sales management information by completing reports.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in ongoing training; reading professional publications.
  • Enhance dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Maintain a high OLP/CSI, receive 5-Star reviews.
  • Stay current with required certifications.
