Job Summary:

The Busser will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service by assisting Floor & Cocktail Servers in steps of guest service, resetting tables in a speedy, professional, and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the Tao Group Hospitality Employee Handbook standards.
  • Anticipate and accommodate guest needs, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
  • Ensure the general cleanliness and orderliness of tables, including banquettes.
  • Communicate guest needs to Front-of-House and Heart-of-House support staff, servers, managers, and chefs.
  • Deliver, fill, and refill water as requested by guests and/or directed by servers.
  • Clear and reset tables, clean table areas, including banquettes, during service.
  • Participate in ensuring guest satisfaction through active participation in service.
  • Maintain general cleanliness of stations and the entire venue.
  • Comply with Department of Health and company sanitation standards.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, including setting up floor and side stations, performing side-work, and stocking side-stations with prescribed supplies.
Requirements:
  • Previous hospitality experience, preferably in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge.
  • Previous busser experience.
  • Ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods, with a maximum weight lift of 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain focused.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
