Job Summary

As a key member of our educational staff, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that fosters the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth of our preschoolers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lesson Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement daily lesson plans that align with our curriculum and meet the needs of our diverse student population.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment that promotes active learning and socialization.
  • Child Development and Assessment: Monitor and document the progress of each child, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and providing targeted support to ensure optimal development.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning community.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum of 12 semester units of Early Childhood Education (ECE) in the core areas of child growth, development, child and family community, and curriculum.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to perform physical tasks such as crouching, crawling, lifting up to 35 pounds, and standing for extended periods.
