Job Opportunity: Preschool Mandarin Teacher

We are seeking a qualified Preschool Mandarin Teacher to join our team at Stratford School. As a Preschool Mandarin Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an instruction plan for young students in our Preschool and Pre-K classrooms, emphasizing vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Mandarin.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, supervise, and implement the Mandarin curriculum
  • Maintain the Mandarin curriculum and materials at your school
  • Collaborate with other faculty and staff members
  • Communicate regularly with parents, school leaders, and other staff as appropriate
  • This is a floater teacher position where you will support multiple classrooms as needed in Mandarin.
Requirements:
  • Twelve post-secondary semester or equivalent quarter units in Early Childhood Education or related field at an accredited college or university
  • A Bachelor's degree in Early Child Development or related field is preferred
  • Six months or more experience working in a childcare center or program
  • Must be fluent in both Mandarin and English language
  • Must be able to work in the U.S.
