Join Our Team as an Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Careline Health Group. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patient's functional status, including muscle function, endurance, visual coordination, written and verbal communication skills, self-care ability, and work capacity.
  • Evaluate home environment for hazards and barriers to more independent living.
  • Participate in the development of the individualized plan of care, including equipment needs.
  • Develop treatment programs and establish goals for improved function.
  • Communicate plan of care to referring physicians and other organization professionals.
  • Teach new skills or retrain patients in once familiar daily activities that have been lost due to illness or injury.
  • Maintain appropriate clinical records, progress notes, and reports to the physician or advanced practice practitioner any changes in the patient's condition.
Requirements:
  • A graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • 1-year clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred.
  • Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Requires interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally and effectively with staff, patients, and caregivers.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology required.
  • Able to demonstrate problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to handle multiple priorities, documentation requirements, and deadlines.
