Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Childrens Ministry Manager to join our team at Redeemer Brooklyn. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and implementing systems and processes to effectively facilitate childrens worship services, recruiting and training volunteers, and coordinating events and programs for children ages birth through Grade 5.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement systems and processes for childrens worship services, including curriculum development and volunteer management.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers for all childrens ministry at Redeemer Brooklyn.
  • Coordinate events and programs for children, including summer Vacation Bible School and outreach events.
  • Manage the TouchPoint database for Sunday registrations and other events.
  • Oversee the volunteer onboarding process, including communication with potential volunteers and tracking progress.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with volunteers, staff, and families.
  • Ability to adapt to changes and maintain professionalism during unexpected situations.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to cast vision for the ministry area and take initiative towards action.
  • Proficient in MS office applications and ability to quickly learn new software and programs.
  • Minimum 5 years professional experience, with experience in a religious or 501(c)3 nonprofit preferred.
