Compensation: Starting at $15.50 per hour

Position Overview:

The Aquatic Safety Supervisor role at Woods Services involves ensuring a secure swimming atmosphere, instructing groups during swim lessons, and overseeing clients during leisure swimming activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of all swimming pools and surrounding areas
  • Documenting and updating the Monthly Summary Pool report
  • Accurately tracking clients' progress
  • Designing, organizing, and executing recreational activities
  • Upholding pool and facility regulations
  • Adapting programs to meet the needs of clients
  • Monitoring clients during leisure swim sessions
  • Carrying out additional assigned tasks

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Preferred: At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Current certification in Advanced Lifesaving or Lifeguard training required
  • CPR and First Aid certifications are mandatory
  • Pesticide Applicators license is a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Physical agility and capability to respond to emergencies are essential

We serve over 22,000 children and adults across various sectors, including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our Langhorne campus offers care for 550 residents and provides outpatient and day programs.
