About the Position

We are looking for a seasoned professional to serve as Vice President of AIMS at Mystic Seaport Museum. In this critical role, you will oversee the development and implementation of research initiatives, manage the Institute's operations, and collaborate with the Museum Leadership Team to advance the organization's mission.

The estimated salary for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of Library and archives.
  • Disseminate knowledge through publications such as MAINSHEET, digital, lectures, conferences, seminars.
  • Network and maintain relationships with key external constituencies, including academics, other researchers, and stakeholders in the Maritime History space.
