The ideal candidate will assume a leadership role in the deployment of GIS solutions tailored for Electric and Gas Utilities, particularly utilizing ESRI platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the implementation of GIS solutions within the Utilities sector, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
- Utilize ESRI tools such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, and ArcGIS Online for GIS analysis, development, and programming.
- Oversee the creation and evaluation of maps, while managing and updating spatial data effectively.
- Engage in Agile methodologies, participating in Scrum practices and utilizing tools like JIRA and Confluence.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 7 years in Information Technology with a focus on GIS.
- Proven experience in implementing GIS solutions specifically for Electric and Gas Utilities.
- Hands-on experience with full life cycle development on ESRI platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in designing and deploying solutions using ESRI ArcGIS Desktop and related technologies.
- Knowledge of current trends and advancements in the GIS industry.
- Ability to facilitate discussions with clients regarding GIS program requirements and troubleshoot development issues.
- Experience in mobile platform development is advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding project teams through functional challenges.
