We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Extender II to join our team at Bladen County, NC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide medical care and support to patients in a variety of settings.
Key Responsibilities- Provide health care services, including medical diagnosis and treatment, under the supervision of a physician.
- Act as a consultant to nursing, lab, social work, and administration staff.
- Work closely with the supervising physician and agency director of nursing to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in in-service training and professional development to stay up-to-date on medical and public health practices.
- Assist with disease outbreak investigations and emergency shelter staffing as needed.
- Graduation from a Master's Level Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program approved by the NC Joint Subcommittee.
- Licensed in the state of North Carolina as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Valid NC Driver's license.
- Certified in basic CPR life support.
