Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee inbound and outbound operations within the fulfillment center, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping across multiple shifts.
  • Champion a safe and healthy work environment for associates on the outbound team.
  • Guide warehouse supervisory staff to meet established objectives, ensuring timely processing of customer orders while maintaining high standards for on-time shipments and minimizing defects.
  • Monitor and ensure all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met, including warehouse efficiency, shipment accuracy, and production metrics.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Area Managers and Operations Leads, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Drive strategic planning and forecasting initiatives.
  • Encourage and implement innovative ideas from Area Managers to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Promote a positive team culture that values feedback and adaptability to meet customer needs.
  • Focus on continuous improvement in safety, quality, cost, and delivery, while expanding warehouse capabilities.
  • Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to optimize order fulfillment and enhance operational insights.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of management experience in fulfillment center or warehouse operations, preferably in retail or e-commerce.
  • At least 4 years of management experience in Receiving, Inventory Control, or Order Fulfillment.
  • Proven experience in effectively managing large teams of hourly employees.
  • Experience in developing or enhancing inventory management, order management, and warehouse management systems.
  • Passion for working in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of change.
  • Strong project management and continuous improvement capabilities.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset, dedicated to meeting customer needs.
  • Effective communicator and leader across various teams and levels of the organization.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and leverage data to achieve results.
  • High standards of integrity and ethics.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification or experience in Lean Six Sigma or Green Belt.
