Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of early childhood educators and support staff
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Oversee the daily operations of the center, including staff supervision, child care, and program development
  • Collaborate with the education team to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies
  • Ensure the center maintains a safe and healthy environment for children and staff
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and manage budgets and financial reports
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and community partners
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
  • NC Administrative Level 3 certification
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing early childhood education
