Job Description

Forecaster Position

eTeam is seeking a skilled Forecasting Analyst to join our team. As a Forecaster, you will be responsible for managing work streams and resources that affect appointment offerings. The forecast system creates and maintains forecast models for the Network workforce, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from multiple sources.

The Forecast Team is the integration point into the Field Network, supporting Field Management in all Regions. Implementation of the Forecast System, detail forecast modeling is the responsibility of this position. This position leads the dialogue for their respective markets and products team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and validate data to inform forecasting decisions.
  • Prepare relevant material to facilitate research and discussion with stakeholders.
  • Achieve consensus for operational demand forecasts by facilitating a collaborative planning process and improving relationships among planners and Field Management.
  • Facilitate and manage demand planning customer meetings with Field management.
  • Recommend adjustments for operational forecasts based on data analysis.
  • Maintain demand planning systems and Forecast Tool.
  • Prepare and maintain relevant reports and documents pertaining to demand planning processes.
  • Apply error analysis techniques to improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Refine systems and methods to continually improve forecasts and better anticipate customer needs.
  • Summarize aggregate statistical forecasts and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Provide input to volume planning (Latest Estimates annual process).
  • Achieve consensus with the business side and the demand chain.
  • Enter and modify data and ensure data correctness.
  • Review resulting statistical forecast models and plans.
  • Monitor trends in forecast error.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical, organizational, decision-making, presentation, and facilitation skills are essential for this role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required to effectively interact with all areas and levels of business.
  • Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple issues concurrently.
  • Computer skills are required, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and TEAM.
  • Ability to work in a consultative manner with others, establishing rapport, interviewing, fact-finding, presenting options, recommending solutions, following up, and customer-focused behavior.
  • Previous experience in a multi-tasking, result-oriented position in a deadline-focused business.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in a related field.
