Position Overview


The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for supervising daily operational activities, enhancing overall business performance, training department heads, managing financial plans, devising strategic initiatives, formulating policies, and conveying business objectives.

This role involves collaboration with executive leadership, location managers, and staff to guarantee seamless business operations and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall operations and profitability of multiple car wash locations within the designated territory.
  • Guide the direction, coordination, and evaluation of direct reports while executing supervisory responsibilities in line with organizational policies and applicable laws.
  • Collaborate with Executive Leadership to establish and implement company policies that direct and coordinate all location activities to achieve business and profitability goals.
  • Account for all business operations at each location, including supporting staff development, enhancing operational efficiency, driving sales, improving revenue, maintaining client and vendor relationships, and promoting the organization's image to meet growth objectives and sales forecasts.
  • Inspire and motivate managers to enhance the overall customer experience while holding each manager accountable for their location's operations.
  • Direct, train, and supervise Location Managers to plan and execute procedures that maximize operational efficiency and revenue growth.
  • Maintain daily communication with every location manager through phone, email, or in-person interactions.
  • Ensure a safe environment for all employees and customers by adhering to safety protocols and reporting any safety or maintenance concerns to management.
  • Guarantee that each location is well-maintained and complies with all company safety procedures.
  • Maintain quality control standards related to customer experience, products and services, scheduling, and labor cost management in relation to historical performance and seasonality.
  • Conduct interviews, hire, train, and develop employees to ensure clarity of expectations, standards of performance, and appropriate training to address any performance gaps.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels with employees, customers, peers, and management.
  • Encourage employees to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure proper customer care and facilitate damage claims.
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal laws, rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Delegate authority to employees when appropriate.
  • Support company initiatives, including marketing, promotions, sales, customer service, and talent management.
  • Work a flexible, full-time schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entire property.
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in car wash, retail, or service environments.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Basic mechanical skills.
  • Basic computer skills required.
