Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Field Maintenance Technician to join our team at Waterway Carwash. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our car wash systems and facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, and repair car wash equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Load, unload, and place car wash chemicals, supplies, and equipment as needed.
• Monitor costs related to utilities, chemical use, parts use, and building and grounds maintenance to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
• Provide leadership and guidance to other maintenance employees and store management to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
• Assist store management in workplace safety, chemical application, parts and supply inventory, equipment preventative maintenance, and building and grounds maintenance.

Requirements:

• Degree in a technical field or a minimum of 2 years' experience in a maintenance-related field.
• Electrical experience, including motor control and three-phase power systems, is strongly preferred. Candidates lacking this experience will be expected to successfully complete electrical training and certification within 12 months of hire.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work a flexible 5-day a week schedule, including weekends and holidays, and be available to work all other operating hours.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with store management and other team members.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to wide temperature variations, sunshine, wet weather, and other environmental factors. The successful candidate will also be able to lift up to 50 pounds, push and pull heavy equipment, and work at heights. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are also required.
