The successful candidate will have a robust background in managing gas-powered engines and pumping systems, particularly with models such as 3508, 3516, and other relevant variants.
With 5-10 years of practical experience, the Senior Gas Compression Technician will take charge of the upkeep, diagnostics, and repair of natural gas compression machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
Leverage comprehensive knowledge and skills to identify intricate problems in natural gas compressors, including Ariel, Waukesha, CAT, and centrifugal pumps.
Maintenance and Repair:
Perform advanced repairs on gas compression machinery, including engine overhauls, component replacements, and system enhancements.
Implement thorough preventative maintenance strategies to guarantee peak performance.
Technical Expertise:
Exhibit an advanced comprehension of gas-powered engines, pumping systems, and designated engine models (e.g., 3508, 3516, and others).
Execute specialized tasks related to the maintenance and troubleshooting of centrifugal pumps.
Troubleshooting and Solutions:
Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges effectively.
Formulate and apply efficient solutions to improve equipment reliability.
Documentation and Reporting:
Keep meticulous records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance work.
Create detailed reports on the status of natural gas compression machinery.
Safety Standards:
Show a strong commitment to safety by following industry regulations and practices.
Recognize and mitigate potential safety risks associated with gas compression tasks.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
5-10 years of experience as a Gas Compression Technician, focusing on Ariel, Waukesha, CAT, and centrifugal pumps.
Technical certifications and relevant training are preferred.
Skills:
Expertise in diagnosing and repairing gas compression machinery.
Strong technical knowledge of specified engine models (e.g., 3508, 3516, and others).
Ability to work autonomously and mentor junior technicians.
Communication Skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
