We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director to lead our mental health rehabilitation team at Greenwood Care Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of our facility, including the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff.
Key Responsibilities- Direct overall operations of the mental health rehabilitation program
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff, including mental health professionals and support staff
- Serve as a member of the leadership team and provide strategic direction for the program
- Oversight of the implementation of treatment programs and development of Performance Improvement Project (PIP) tools
- Assess potential residents and provide clinical case supervision of treatment personnel
- Develop and coordinate educational in-services and coordinate referrals to external services
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, including Joint Commission and Illinois Department of Public Health
- Must meet the definition of a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts as defined by the Illinois Mental Health Code
- Knowledge and understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities, including wellness recovery action plans, illness management and recovery, dual diagnosis, and trauma-informed care
- Three years' supervisory experience in a long-term care environment, preferably in psychiatric care
- At least two years of experience in direct care of individuals with psychiatric disorders
- Demonstrated ability to act decisively and delegate authority
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
