Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Rocky Mount Treatment Center. As a key member of our treatment team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients struggling with substance use disorder.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications as prescribed by medical orders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Manage medication inventory, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director to respond to crisis situations, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Monitor patient demeanor during medication administration, identifying and reporting any critical incidents to the Medical Director.
  • Conduct urine drug screens as required, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to established protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing Opioid Treatment Programs, maintaining a high level of professional ethics and confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • Current nursing license from an accredited school.
  • Valid NC nursing license.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a treatment team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • CPR/First Aid certification.
