Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our Skilled Nursing Facility.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain individualized care plans for patients, collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, document patient responses to treatments, and adjust care priorities accordingly.
  • Collect and report data on patient needs, including biophysical, psychosocial, and educational requirements.
  • Provide a range of treatments and therapies, including respiratory care, medication administration, and patient education.
  • Support patients and families during admission, orientation, and discharge, providing emotional support and facilitating coping strategies.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
  • NC LPN License and BCLS certification.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Mathematical skills to perform calculations and measurements.
Work Environment

This position is located at Nash UNC Health Care, with a standard work schedule of 8 hours per week. The work assignment type is onsite, and the work schedule is night shifts.
