Job Summary

UNC Health Care is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in the Skilled Nursing Facility. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the well-being of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure patient needs are met.
  2. Conduct thorough assessments, document patient responses to treatments, and adjust care priorities as needed.
  3. Participate in unit and departmental enrichment activities to promote positive outcomes and contribute to a supportive work environment.
  4. Provide a range of treatments and therapies, including respiratory care, medication administration, and patient education.
  5. Assist patients and families during admission, orientation, and discharge, providing emotional support and facilitating coping strategies.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
  • NC LPN License and BCLS certification.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Mathematical skills to perform calculations and reason to solve practical problems.
