VNS Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Home Health team in Queens, New York.
Job Summary
The VNS Health Nurse Residency Program is a comprehensive training program designed to empower recent RN graduates with hands-on clinical experience and training to develop the next generation of expert home care clinicians.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized nursing and care management to patients in their home or care facilities
- Constantly evaluate evolving patient needs and respond with plan of care adjustments
- Participate in classroom learning activities and shadow RNs to gain field experience
- Practice in the community with a preceptor as part of an interdisciplinary care team
- Achieve continued professional growth through attendance at in-services, training, and continued formal education
Requirements
- Degree in Nursing from an approved program required
- No prior work experience in nursing required
