Twilight Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking skilled Respiratory Therapists to join our team on a PRN basis. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Set up and operate mechanical ventilators, therapeutic gas administration apparatus, environmental control systems, and aerosol generators to ensure optimal patient care.
- Patient Monitoring and Care: Monitor patient vital signs and administer medicinal gases and aerosol drugs under the orders of a Physician.
- Education and Training: Assist patients in performing breathing exercises and demonstrate respiratory care procedures to trainees and other healthcare personnel.
- Equipment Inspection and Repair: Inspect and test respiratory therapy equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation, and order repairs as needed.
- Education and Experience: Completion of an approved school for respiratory therapy and one to three months' related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Licensure: Active State Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
