Responsibilities

Peraton is in search of a seasoned Project Coordinator to become part of our USCYBERCOM team.


In this capacity, you will:
  • Assess and evaluate strategies, doctrines, policies, directives, and instructions from higher command and provide recommendations to ensure adherence and consideration in planning efforts.
  • Formulate plans and directives utilizing operational art and design, employing the Joint Planning Process (JPP), within the established milestones, deliverables, and interaction points for plans developed through Adaptive Planning and Execution (APEX) activities.
  • Contribute to briefings, transitioning concepts into execution, and aiding in the coordination of joint operational planning in support of training, exercises, combat, and contingency operations.
  • Integrate cyberspace capabilities into deliberate, contingency, and crisis action planning.
  • Offer insights for the creation of Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), Concepts of Operations (CONOPs), Courses of Action (COAs), and other pertinent documents related to Offensive Cyber Operations (OCO), Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO), and the securing, operating, and defending of the DOD Information Network (DODIN).
  • Provide input to identify shortfalls, prioritize and validate requirements, and be ready to adjust development planning efforts in response to the evolving cyberspace landscape.
  • Assist in the creation of exercise scenarios, operational plans, and other necessary documentation to support planning and execution aligned with USCYBERCOM exercise training priorities.
  • Conduct research on current and emerging threats to U.S. Critical Infrastructure and Key Resources (CIKR).
  • Engage in Joint Planning Groups (JPGs) and Operational Planning Groups/Teams (OPG/OPTs).
Qualifications

Required:
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Project Management, Business Management, Economics, Political Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Law, Government Contracting, Finance/Accounting, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Joint Planning Process.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Strong executive-level communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Cyber Mission and an understanding of the implications of policy and operations in cyberspace.
  • U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in Strategic Planning.
  • Background in Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) planning.
  • Proven experience leading Operational Planning Teams (OPT).
  • Capability to lead and actively participate in JPGs and OPG/OPT, developing and integrating cyber capabilities into plans in support of Combatant Commander planning efforts.
  • Ability to coordinate cyberspace operations planning activities through the Integrated Joint Special Technical Operations (IJSTO), including Evaluation Request and Response Messages, SAP procedures, and the RAPCO.
  • Expertise in all planning methodologies and applications across all phases of military operations, providing analytical expertise and in-depth knowledge of operational design, Joint Operation Planning, and APEX.
  • Capacity to establish joint operations planning objectives in support of combat and contingency operations independently.
  • Proficiency in coordinating the development of cyberspace operations plans, contingency plans, CONOPs, and orders.
  • Extensive technical expertise; lead and engage in all phases and steps of the JPP and APEX activities.
  • Demonstrated strength in organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
