Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Compass Group USA. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in preparing and cooking high-quality food, while ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Supervise hourly food service associates, including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and recommending disciplinary action
  • Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of equipment, supplies, and utensils
  • Interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner
  • Monitor inventory and deliveries of product and supplies, tracking product production, consumption, and waste
Requirements

Cooking experience is required. We offer a competitive salary range of $22.00 to $27.00 per hour, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, commuter benefits, and flexible spending accounts.
