LifeBridge Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to serve as the Medical Director of Behavioral Health Services. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development of clinical programs that promote excellence in child and adolescent mental health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the Behavioral Health Services team, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand child and adolescent psychiatric services, aligning with the health system's vision for a Center of Excellence.
- Collaborate with health system leadership to understand community needs and develop clinical programs that meet those needs.
- Recruit and retain staff across different disciplines, ensuring a strong and diverse team.
- Ensure regulatory preparedness and compliance of the programs at Carroll Hospital Center.
- Supervise and oversee Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and ensure timely completion of clinical documentation and associated charges.
- Participate in the development of academic programs, including teaching and mentoring medical students, and contributing to the growth and development of faculty members.
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Eligibility for a Maryland State Medical License and DEA at the time of appointment.
- 2-3 years of leadership experience in a behavioral health setting.
