Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the Behavioral Health Services team, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand child and adolescent psychiatric services, aligning with the health system's vision for a Center of Excellence.
  • Collaborate with health system leadership to understand community needs and develop clinical programs that meet those needs.
  • Recruit and retain staff across different disciplines, ensuring a strong and diverse team.
  • Ensure regulatory preparedness and compliance of the programs at Carroll Hospital Center.
  • Supervise and oversee Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and ensure timely completion of clinical documentation and associated charges.
  • Participate in the development of academic programs, including teaching and mentoring medical students, and contributing to the growth and development of faculty members.

Requirements:

  • Board Certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Eligibility for a Maryland State Medical License and DEA at the time of appointment.
  • 2-3 years of leadership experience in a behavioral health setting.
