Key Responsibilities
  • Represent Empyrean Hospice with professionalism and compassion
  • Manage daily branch operations, staff, patients, and community relationships
  • Evaluate hospice services and supervise staff using measurable outcomes
  • Oversee operational planning, budgeting, and compliance
  • Ensure adequate staffing and current clinical information
  • Lead IDG discussions and plans of care
  • Communicate effectively with staff, departments, and senior management
  • Implement service policies and procedures
  • Direct staff handling of responsibilities
  • Monitor service utilization and complete data collection and reporting
  • Collaborate with agencies and vendors for effective management

Requirements
  • Professionalism, compassion, and a desire to help others

  • 2-5 years' experience in health care management, with hospice and/or home health care experience preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current licensure in State and CPR certification
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel
  • Comprehensive understanding of hospice care and services
  • Intimate knowledge of Medicare Hospice Certification
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft suite
