LPN Charge Nurse

As a LPN Charge Nurse at CHSGa, you will be responsible for directing nursing care for patients and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and supervise nursing care for patients, ensuring that care is provided in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations.
Operate oxygen equipment, suction machines, and other medical devices as needed.
Deliver medications to patients, receive drugs from the pharmacy, and maintain accurate records of medication administration.
Collect lab specimens, interpret results, and implement IV therapy as needed.
Maintain effective communication with attending physicians, patients, and family members.
Requirements
Nursing degree from an accredited college or university or graduate of an approved LPN program.
Proficient in using a computer, especially Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills, as well as effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
