Job Title: Resource Development Director

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resource Development Director to join our team at Greater Muncie, Indiana Habitat for Humanity. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our fundraising efforts, developing and implementing a comprehensive resource development plan, and building strong relationships with donors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement a comprehensive resource development plan to achieve our fundraising goals
* Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, stakeholders, and community leaders
* Oversee and manage the annual fund process, including donor stewardship and solicitation
* Collaborate with the CEO and Board of Directors to design and implement a comprehensive annual resource development plan
* Analyze and oversee donor data for accuracy and effective gift strategies
* Oversee all grant proposals for the affiliate, including grants submitted to foundations, national and local organizations, and businesses
* Provide financial oversight, including cash flow and reporting for all grants awarded to GMHFH
* Develop fundraising policies, practices, and procedures
* Supervise and oversee the work of the Resource Development Specialist and contract grant writer(s)

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, sales, or a related field
* Three to five years of experience in not-for-profit fund development, including fundraising, grant writing, and donor relations
* Strong financial acumen and proficiency in spreadsheet applications
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, including speech writing and public speaking
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to self-manage and supervise the work of others
* Strong commitment to work collaboratively with GMHFH staff members, Board of Directors, and community leaders
