Hartwig is seeking a dedicated individual for the role of CNC Service Engineer in our Northwest Iowa region. This position is crucial for ensuring our clients' machinery operates at optimal efficiency.

Your Responsibilities:
As a CNC Service Engineer, you will:

  • Travel to client locations using a company vehicle to install, troubleshoot, and maintain CNC machinery and controls.
  • Conduct thorough and timely repairs, as well as preventative maintenance checks.
  • Provide training to clients on proper maintenance and repair techniques for both existing and new equipment.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to address service-related challenges.
  • Suggest enhancements and modifications to machinery and operational processes.
  • Continuously evaluate current practices and seek out improved methodologies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for work records and reporting purposes.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Prior experience with CNC machine tools is preferred, though we are open to training the right candidate.
  • A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
