About the Job

Front Signs, the largest sign-making company in Burbank, CA, is seeking an Experienced Project Manager to coordinate sign manufacturing projects from initiation to delivery/installation, final inspection, and billing.

Job Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Oversee project completion within set budget and deadlines.
  • Daily Project Review: Daily review of project priorities.
  • Client Service: Deliver exceptional client service through clear communication.
  • Scope Evaluation: Evaluate and execute scope of work.
  • Material Verification: Verify material alignment with sales rendering, estimate, and purchase order.
  • Purchase Order Management: Adjust purchase orders as needed.
  • Weekly Approvals: Prioritize and prepare weekly purchase order approvals.
  • Installation Scheduling: Gather ship dates for installation scheduling.
  • Vendor Management: Address material issues with vendors.
  • Travel Arrangements: Take care of travel arrangements of installation crews.
  • Equipment and Subcontractor Management: Schedule Equipment Rental and/or Sub-Contractors.
  • Project Forecasting: Forecast project installations based on vendor-provided ship dates.
  • Invoice Management: Progress invoice projects one week prior to installation.
  • Financial Reporting: Report anticipated closures and funds.
  • Installation Tracking: Enter installation schedules in the calendar and follow up the works.
  • Communication: Maintain direct communication with Installation Crews to track job progression.
  • Department Coordination: Coordinate daily schedules with Installation and Manufacturing departments.
  • Issue Resolution: Monitor, report, and resolve any go-back issues.
  • Project Completion: Manage project completion, including final inspection for billing.
  • Closure Notification: Send closure emails to clients and internal staff to formalize job completion, ready for invoicing and costing.
Job Requirements
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in Project management in sign manufacturing, construction, printing or other relevant fields.
  • Certification: A PMI certification would be a plus.
  • Organization and Communication: Great organization and communication skills with team members.
  • Leadership: Ability to direct others through project completion.
  • Client Service: Great client service skills to maintain excellent relations with clients.
  • Independence: Work independently with little direction.
  • Adaptability: Adapt to change easily and quickly and manage /adjust the job priorities operatively.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and prepare timely reports.
  • Software Skills: Good knowledge of MS Office (word and excel).
  • Project Management Tools: Familiar with project or task management tools, like Trello, Asana, Jira or others.
  • Organizational Skills: Organized and confident.
  • Multi-Tasking: High Multi-tasking skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Absolute Attention to detail.
  • Administrative Skills: Administrative skills.
