A Snapshot of a Typical Week for a Program Analyst:

  • Engage in or assist designated Project and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
  • Gather, complete, organize, and analyze technical data and financial metrics related to projects.
  • Monitor project progress and timelines.
  • Implement policies and procedures for financial planning.
  • Provide program and project management assistance to identify and mitigate program risks.
  • Support the Program Manager in researching and analyzing technical and management data, performance trends, and project advancements.
  • Participate in program design reviews, technical evaluations, audits, and discussions.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to secure a DoD Secret clearance.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of relevant technical experience in project management, technical, or business analysis; including at least two (2) years of relevant technical experience in supporting systems and components development.
  • Proven knowledge of Defense policy and documentation concerning PPBS and life-cycle management of acquisition programs (as outlined in the DoD 5000 series).

Compensation and Benefits:

AMERICAN SYSTEMS values pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $100,000. Actual compensation will depend on various factors within legal boundaries.
