About the Role

In this dynamic role, you will be the face of Gap Inc., engaging and connecting with our customers by providing exceptional customer service. As a product expert, you will educate, inform, and inspire customers, offering information on current merchandise assortment, store promotions, and events. Your goal is to bring our brand to life for our customers while building brand loyalty and delivering results with productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert product knowledge to customers, leveraging our selling behaviors to deliver a premium customer experience.
  • Acknowledge and assist customers, locating merchandise efficiently and answering questions quickly and accurately.
  • Offer style and outfit suggestions to customers, utilizing mannequins and displays for inspiration.
  • Promote loyalty by educating customers about our loyalty programs.
  • Leverage omni-channel offerings to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Support sales floor, fitting room, checkout, and back-of-house processes, as required.
  • Courteously and responsively handle internal and external requests.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to utilize technology effectively and engage with customers and your team to meet goals.
  • Problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement, always learning, open to feedback, and taking action as required.
  • Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues courteously and professionally.
  • Basic information-gathering skills to solve problems.
  • Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on-the-job training.
