As a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist in our Market Float Pool, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

As a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for direct and indirect patient care, scrubbing for diagnostic and interventional cases, and hemodynamic monitoring. You will also assist in ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and promoting cost efficiency within the department.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Two years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures Lab - preferred

Education and Certifications

You will need to meet the following education and certification requirements:

  • Graduate of a Cardiovascular Technologist program, or a program in radiology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology, or a military training program of equivalent standards

Licenses and Certifications

You will need to hold the following licenses and certifications:

  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) - required within 6 months, or Radiologic Technologist certified through the Texas Medical Board and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) - required upon hire
  • BLS Certification as per St. David's HealthCare policy
  • ACLS Certification as per St. David's HealthCare policy
