CT Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at St. David's North Austin Medical Center. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform Computed Tomography Procedures: Conduct CT scans and take radiographs according to established standards and practices to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
  • Coordinate Services and Activities: Ensure efficient patient throughput and effective utilization of equipment and human resources based on patient load.
  • Maintain Radiation Safety: Apply principles of radiation safety to minimize risk to patients, self, and others.
  • Document Patient Information: Document information seen during exams and relay relevant patient information to physicians.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful as a CT Technologist at St. David's North Austin Medical Center, you should possess:

  • A degree from an accredited program in radiology or a military training program of equivalent standards.
  • Preferred: Associates Degree or higher in Radiologic Technology.
  • Licensed by Texas Department of State Health Services as a Medical Radiologic Technologist.
  • Certified in Radiology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $62,000 to $82,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
