In the healthcare field, collaboration is essential for success.
This role will assist our healthcare teams by ensuring they have the necessary resources to provide excellent patient care.
You will play a vital role in enhancing the patient experience during their visits.If you are passionate about supporting others and improving patient interactions, we would love to hear from you.
Expectations:
Performs general patient care in accordance with established clinic protocols.
Welcomes and prepares patients for their appointments by obtaining and documenting vital signs, reviewing allergies and medications, and completing necessary screening forms.
Collects and prepares specimens for laboratory testing.
Administers prescribed medications and/or vaccines to patients.
Maintains cleanliness and sterilization of instruments.
Ensures patient examination rooms are well-stocked, organized, and hygienic.
Addresses non-routine issues, inquiries, and concerns promptly and appropriately.
Completes safety checklists and quality control measures as required, taking necessary actions if indicated.
Performs additional duties within the scope of the role as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program
Successfully completed a Medication Aide 40-hour course or possess current/valid
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
High school diploma or equivalent
