About the Opportunity
The Division of Rheumatology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania is seeking candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about academic medicine and want to make a meaningful contribution to the field of rheumatology.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows in the art and science of rheumatology
- Developing and implementing educational programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals
- Clinical responsibilities may include caring for patients with a variety of rheumatic diseases, including lupus, myositis, rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma, Sjögren's syndrome, spondyloarthritis, and vasculitis
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients
Requirements
- MD or equivalent degree
- ABIM certification or eligibility in Rheumatology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
