Job Title: Advanced Electrical Engineer

At Light & Wonder, we're seeking an experienced Advanced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Gaming department, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and modifying components and processes used in the generation, manipulation, transmission, and storage of electricity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electronic components, sub-assemblies, and systems
  • Architect and design motherboards around ARM and X86 processors
  • Work with 3rd party manufacturers on electronic design from concept definition to production
  • Lead the development of newly designed products
  • Provide sustainment for existing hardware products
  • Perform design validation and test on newly designed and existing electronic products
Requirements:
  • 8-12 years of experience in Electrical Hardware Research and Development with an emphasis on Embedded Systems, Computer Architecture, and various emerging technologies
  • Experience with the full life cycle of electronic systems development
  • Strong knowledge in circuit board design using various ICs, voltage regulators, and discrete logic
  • Proficient in schematic capture and PCB layout using industry-standard CAD tools
  • Strong knowledge of various communication protocols
  • Possess fundamental conceptual knowledge of Hardware Descriptive Languages (Verilog or VHDL) and FW development
Education:

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred

Work Conditions:

Some domestic and international travel required
