About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team at H&M Group. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Sales & Profit
    • Ensure a seamless customer experience by maintaining a visually appealing store environment and providing excellent customer service.
    • Represent the H&M brand positively during customer interactions and ensure that all customer needs are met.
    • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies to optimize results.
    • Develop and implement plans to increase sales and profitability.
  • Fashion & Trend Awareness
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends and ensure that the team is knowledgeable about products and fashion.
    • Provide product and fashion knowledge to customers and ensure that all sales associates are equipped to do the same.
  • Team & Development
    • Recruit, onboard, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to support their growth and development.
    • Collaborate with the Visual Merchandiser team to create visually appealing store displays and ensure that all store areas are maintained to a high standard.
  • Retail Operations/Visual & Commercial Execution
    • Ensure that the store is maintained to a high standard, including the sales floor, stockroom, and back-of-house areas.
    • Monitor and maintain stock levels, including receiving and processing shipments.
    • Ensure that all store operations are running smoothly, including customer service, sales, and visual merchandising.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and implement strategies to optimize results.
  • Knowledge of fashion trends and products.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales goals.
