Position Overview
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a pivotal role in representing the ABA ProBAR at various events, including conferences and career fairs, with the goal of enhancing the talent pipeline and showcasing the advantages of working with the ABA. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers to define candidate qualifications and identifying potential internal and external sources for recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement effective recruitment strategies tailored to legal positions, utilizing a variety of resources to attract qualified candidates for current and future openings.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to clarify candidate qualifications and track market trends to identify potential skill shortages.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships to create a robust talent pool for current and upcoming vacancies.
  • Screen applicants and provide initial information to align candidates with suitable job opportunities.
  • Coordinate internship and fellowship programs, ensuring compliance with onboarding processes and maintaining communication with relevant departments.
  • Maintain compliance records and ensure unbiased interview processes are followed.
  • Develop and execute a communication strategy that effectively conveys the value of job opportunities at ABA ProBAR.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in human resources management or a related field, or equivalent professional recruiting experience.
  • Two to five years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with virtual meeting platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in non-profit recruitment or legal recruitment.
  • Fluency in a secondary language relevant to the client base.
Work Environment
This position typically operates in an office setting with occasional travel required. The ABA offers a supportive work culture that prioritizes professional growth and development.
